My dear Aunty Lulu, This is a short but heartfelt tribute to you for the wonderful life you have led. Blessed with a wonderful family, Uncle Cris & you showed us how a happy & fruitful life can be achieved and we salute you. For Ken’s part as your Godchild, thanks so much for the wonderful memories from a very young age until we were separated by the tyranny of distance. Your first present to me at the age of 3 years old was a koala bear stuffed toy which we were unaware of at that time was going to herald a life in Australia that I now enjoy. How fortuitous was that! When I was about 7 or 8 years old, you thrilled me with a present for Christmas of an Airfix model aeroplane, a RAF Hawker Hunter fighter jet, which you helped me assemble, because you knew of my interest in aviation from a young age. That I feel was a catalyst for my lifelong career as a pilot - thank you for your encouragement! These two gestures seemed to have resulted in great significance for my adult life. I will never forget all the wonderful times Nigel and I had at Tiong Bharu, growing up with all the Pereira girls! Rest in peace dear Aunty Lulu, you will never be forgotten by all who have crossed your path. Have a peaceful rest with your beloved Crispin & we will meet again sometime. Sleep peacefully, RIP. Fondest love from Ken, Sharyn, William, Philip & little “Riley-Joe”

My dearest darling mummy, well - it has been a long road. We’ve had our ups and downs together, you and I, but it has been my honour to be there for you and to care for you in your later years. We had some great times, we bickered, we giggled and laughed together, we annoyed each other then always made up with chocolate, but at the end of each day we were always thankful for the other being there. I will miss you so much, Mummy, seeing you go has been the greatest wrench for me, but I know that you will always be with me wherever I go. I know that you have gone to a better place and that you are now with Daddy - I’d like to think - dressed to the nines, driving together in the Jaguar he used to have, to somewhere exciting. All my love, Jacqueline.
